What is XAT Exam ?
XAT Exam Pattern has been updated. Earlier XAT exam consisted of five sections but now four will be there in 2023. Since there are some major changes that occurred in the pattern of the exam all the aspirants are advised to understand the exam pattern before they fill XAT application form.
XAT Exam or Xavier Aptitude Test Exam is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. Apart from XLRI and XAMI members, many B-schools accept XAT scores for admission in their post-graduate management programmes.
The XAT exam is conducted in online mode at various test centres across India. The question paper consists of 100 questions MCQs from Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge.
Important Dates of XAT Exam

All Indian Candidates can appear for XAT 2022 & NRI and Foreign candidates can apply through GMAT or XAT

The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent course of minimum or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university/college/institution.

Students in their final year of bachelor's degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.

There is no minimum age restriction to apply.
XAT 2023 registration last date has closed on December 11, 2022 at Midnight. Giving a good relief to the candidates who could not register and apply for XAT 2023 earlier, the XAT 2023 registration last date was extended from Nov 30 to Dec 11. You could register for XAT 2023 on this official XAT 2023 Registration link. XAT registration and application fee was Rs.2000/-. Conducted by XLRI for the past 70 years, Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is the mandatory MBA entrance exam for admission to XLRI Jamshedpur and 160+ other B-schools including XIMB, IMT, IMI, TAPMI, MICA, Great Lakes, GIM among others. XAT 2023 exam date is January 8, 2023 and the exam will be conducted in a single session of 3 hours 10 minutes duration as a computer based test.
